We are the hub for all Welsh events and activities in southeastern Ohio. The university of Rio Grande offers a minor in Welsh Studies which includes Welsh language courses. We also have a student exchange program with Trinity College in Carmarthen, Wales to give students an International experience.

We help coordinate events and activities with the Cardigan Welsh Club and also the Welsh-American Heritage Museum in Oak Hill, Ohio.

The story of the "accidental" Welsh settlement in this part of Ohio is fascinating history so we welcome you to come visit us and share your Welsh interest.

Hi!  I live in the UK but visited the Welsh communities in South East Ohio (Jackson and Gallia counties) about 15 years ago.  I have distant relations in Oak Hill, descended from my great great grandfather's sister who emigrated with her husband in the 19th century from near Aberaeron in Ceredigion.  I agree - the history of the immigrants in Ohio is a fascinating story Smiley
